Caddo Lake images are part of Big Cypress Bayou Collection. This particular morning we started early so that we could capture sunrise. There was a light fog that added to the drama in the image. The sunrise on Big Cypress Bayou created a serene and picturesque scene. The warm, orange and pink hues of the rising sun would be reflected on the still waters of the bayou, casting a soft glow on the towering cypress trees that line the banks. The mist rising off the water would add to the peaceful and natural ambiance. The birds and other wildlife that call the bayou home would likely be active and adding their own unique sounds to the morning symphony.
